		Dave Pietkiewicz, President Our president, Dave Pietkiewicz has studied political science at Montclair State College and business at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. Employed by Chicago Title in East Orange, NJ under the tutelage of Joseph Santosuosso, Esq. for four years through 1978, he became an independent Title Examiner later that year and was subsequently licensed by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance in 1981. A long-time member of the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Clifton, NJ Economic Development Assistance Commission, Dave also served for fifteen years on the Clifton, NJ Planning Board and is a former Chairman of that Board. Contact Dave: DaveP@pvts.com		Our History Passaic Valley Title was formed in 1982 by David Pietkiewicz who was later joined by Tom Earnshaw, Jr., becoming Agents for Pioneer National Title Insurance Company (now Chicago Title Insurance and part of the Fidelity National Title Group). We also write for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance, which is part of the same family. Fidelity National is the largest and most financially secure Title Insurance Underwriter in the United States. Staff Emeritus Tom Earnshaw, Jr. Tom Earnshaw, Jr., was born in Passaic, NJ and lived in Clifton, NJ for many years before moving to Lake Hopatcong, NJ in 1964. Many practicing real estate attorneys were familiar with Tom's professionalism and courtesies as he was Chief Clerk in the Passaic County New Jersey Register's Office for over thirty years prior to joining Passaic Valley Title. Officially retiring from that position in 1984, he entered the title field and built upon his existing strong relationships with attorneys from his years with the Register. Unfortunately, Tom passed away in September of 1991; his hard work and dedication to "service" remains a cornerstone of this organization. Edwin R. Everitt Edwin R. Everitt, former Chief Probate Clerk for the Passaic County, NJ Surrogate's Court joined Passaic Valley Title as an Account Representative in 1989. Although Ed passed away in 2011, his broad knowledge of probate law and surrogate's court proceedings and courteous manor will forever be appreciated by members of the Bar. We were very fortunate to have had him on board during his "second career"!
		Tom Campanile, Senior Account Representative and VP Our Senior Account Representative and Vice-President, Tom Campanile, started with Passaic Valley Title as an Abstractor. He still utilizes those skills whenever necessary to get our work out in a timely fashion. He holds an Insurance Producer License, is a past Vice-President of the Passaic County, NJ Title Searcher's Association and an Associate Member of the Passaic County Board of Realtors. His professionalism, courtesy and enthusiasm are unmatched anywhere in the title industry. 		Nancy Withers, Chief Title Officer and VP In addition to the underwriting skills of Dave Pietkiewicz, we have as our Chief Title Officer and Vice-President, Nancy Withers, who holds an Insurance Producer’s License. Nancy is a talented and dedicated professional who has the ability to examine titles efficiently and promptly. Her skills also include the ability to get the HUD-1 Closing Statements approved by your Mortgage Lender quickly as well conducting the Closing/Settlement in a most professional manner. 		Jackalyn Santosuosso, Assistant Title and Escrow Officer Jackalyn Santosuosso, Title and Escrow Officer, holds an Insurance Producer’s License. In addition to reading titles she is responsible for handling Disbursements on Consumer Refinances on a regular basis. Jackalyn is extremely trustworthy and thorough, seeing each file through closing and beyond. You can be confident that each task on every matter will be handled promptly and professionally. 		Christina Mecchi, Assistant Title Officer Christina Mecchi, Assistant Title Officer, holds a Title Producer’s License and is in charge of our Policy Department. Her regular duties include a detailed “post-closing” review of each file, confirmation of proper recording of documents in the County Clerk/Register’s Office and…most importantly…the timely issuance of the Policies of Title Insurance! Christina also oversees the “Application Dept.” and sees to it that all of the data on new files is entered properly and that the necessary Searches are ordered. Contact Chris: ChristinaS@pvts.com
		Mary Kuepfer, Closing Dept. Head Mary Kuepfer, heads up our clerical pool. Hard-working and quick to respond, Mary sees to it that our Title Commitments (Binders) are put together and issued promptly and that they include all of the appurtenant Endorsements and Exhibits. 		John J. Campanile, Account Representative Account Representative and holder of several New Jersey Insurance Licenses, John J. Campanile, recently joined us and is also the president of Stanford Risk Management, a completely separate entity that handles commercial environmental problems and risk management. His multi-faceted approach has been proven instrumental in keeping problematic and complicated deals together.
